A wonderful present from IndiviJewels, So Six days to go for what we have all been working so hard for and what another mad year. This last week has just flown by as we try and finish all our orders, I feel like Santa’s little elf in my workshop till, 2,3 even 5 in the morning but its all worth it. All things considered its gone pretty smooth, Not to many problems compared to other frantic years and I’m more organized with my own Xmas preparations this year which makes me even more full of  the Xmas joy, Nothing worse than rushing around, Been there and it’s just horrible. Now trying to keep up with your social media while very busy is not going to really happen no matter how hard you try, As the saying goes “Not enough hours in the day”  Now if Santa could wrap up a little helper for me for the New Year that would be a most welcome present! So before it all went mad I had managed to take some photographs of our new bits which I referred to in my last blog, Now this particular bracelet was an absolute joy to design and make. I love the design so much I have decided to make it with sterling silver and gold fill, Now finding all the components might be a little tricky but hay-ho when I have my mind set on something I’m like a dog with a bone. So this jumbo bird’s nest is wrapped with approx 70 inches of 14k Rose Gold, So that’ s a lot of wire to wrap, Nothing worse than getting near the end and you realize its not the sphere shape you hoped for, Yes that’s right it’s happened a few times! It gets a lot more tricky when you entwine the pearls as well but I think it’s worth it when it’s finished, Totally unique to IndiviJewels and to be honest I don’t think many people would have the patience to try it lol. So I already had the silver and rose gold rondelles from another design, When you put the two metals together they really do pop, Much better in the flesh than photo’s could ever show, I love how the Rose Gold are just the slightly bigger than the Sterling silver donuts, If you go to big I think you lose the look and elegance you are looking for so for me just perfect. When the Bird’s Nest is added to the charm carrier it just all comes together and overall it makes a truly unique piece of jewellery that I’m over the moon about. Again I have gone with the magnetic clasp, I really love using it for this kind of design so it’s easier for you guys to just throw it over your wrist and let it do it’s job.I must admit I actually loved wearing it but that was only in the work shop, Didn’t want to get strange looks as walking down the street as lets be honest it’s not very manly. I have managed to get my hands on the sterling silver and Gold fill versions of the clasp so now I just need the bigger rondelles in those metals and Hay-Ho there’s no stopping me. So that’s me for another blog, Saturday night is here and to be honest I need some sleep or I will have to hold my eyelids up with matchsticks. Kids finished school yesterday so they are all pumped up looking forward to the big day. I hope to get back on with another blog before the end of the year as I have some catching up to do but it is Xmas so we will see what happens, If not then I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Well here we are, Autumn creeping upon us again, Dark nights closing in so its just as well we are here to brighten you up with some colourful sparkling jewellery. Our latest piece is a heavy weight Sterling silver rings bracelet, Some people may call it a sweetie bracelet and it does look good enough to eat, BOOM BOOM! come on that’s really good for me. As you know we have so many new designs just waiting to be made, Ive had this idea for sometime and now the new website is up and running (Nearly) we want to add non-personalised pieces as well as personalised as not everyone wants something with text on although any of our designs can be personalised due to making them ourselves so if you like the design but want it personalised then just let us know. OK so I have to say I love this design it just has everything a piece of jewellery should have, Sparkle, colour, elegance, quality and just all round desirable.  So first of all we start with a sterling silver belcher chain, This is a heavy piece so needs to have a solid base. We then have the sterling silver rings which are two jump rings soldered into one to make a unique look. Now for the main cluster of charms we have the sterling silver Angel wings charm with the little gold vermeil  heart that makes a great contrast. Next we have the sparkling gemstones, On one side we have a lilac Amethyst briolette pear drop and on the other we have a London blue Topaz briolette pear drop which is equally dazzling and to add more contrast we added a freshwater round pearl. To finish the bracelet off we used a lovely heart toggle and on the heart toggle side we added a couple of more charms, One is a very hard to find coin pearl which has a great shape and luster to it and the other is a very cute heart which has two different sized hearts inside the main one making it a very intricate charm. Overall this is lovely bracelet that can be worn from day to day or for a special occasion such as a wedding, Again this design is unique to IndiviJewels so you can only purchase it from us and you sure will receive great comments and asked where you bought it from, So why be like all the rest be IndiviJewel!

OK feel I need to get on with some serious blogging as I’m getting to far behind so here I’ am “Mr Sadurday nite” yes thats right SADurday nite and welcome to my madhouse, a screaming baby and a very loud toddler wanting to play my computer games and one mad hound stoating round the house looking for dropped food lol. Well I’m blogging for a reason tonight and its to write about another new piece which is our personalised silver rings bracelet. Our other rings bracelet with the gold and silver rings has been a great success but we had quite a few enquiries about an all silver one as not everyone likes gold. I had planed to put both bracelets on at the same time but due to lack of time, yes I know someone get the violins out! lol and lack of certain stock items I couldn’t get it on until now.Somethings you really do like to make and I love making this bracelet, its just so unique and something different to all the other bracelets out there that just look so similar to each other. I have added one new finding which I will add to the other bracelet which is the charm holder which looks fantastic on this bracelet and to me just completes it. I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find a charm holder, I did plan to use this in the original design but just couldn’t get my hands on one. If I wasn’t a bloke I would love to wear this but people might think I’m a big girls blouse as they say which there’s nothing wrong with but I have a reputation to pretend to have lol. Will have to look into designing a manly version! OK back onto the subject matter. The good thing I like about this bracelet is the person detail you can have on it, A name of a loved one or a special date in time that means so much. My favourite  is inspirational words because my niece is at university and for her last birthday I made her a gold and silver rings bracelet with three charms which had the words believe,dream and inspire just to give her a little boost when she finds it tough going. OK that’s enough waffle from me at the moment.

Thought I would sneak in a quick blog while my kettle is boiling. What a day I haven’t stopped all day due to the volume of children’s bracelets that have been selling like hot potatoes. If I knew they would be this popular I would have made them years ago LOL.

We are always trying to think of something different to design and make and sue has had this idea for sometime of a mummy’s little stars range. Well with all the numerous ongoing projects we have she finally managed to get a bit of time to work on this idea. Sue decided to design the bracelet first using sterling silver belcher chain for the base. We then have one big star with the stamped initial M on it for mummy and then add four little stars with the stamped initial of  the customers choice weather it be their kids or other family members. The bracelet is finished off with a carabiner clasp to make this a beautifully simple sterling silver personalised piece that is affordable and still makes a treasured keepsake.

It was my Niece’s birthday last sunday and I made her one of our gold and silver rings bracelets. She is off to university soon so I thought I would etch some charms with a few words that might uplift her when things are not going so well.

Its been awhile since my last post but there is just so much to do and not enough time in the day. This is just a quick post about our competition on facebook which has gone from strength to strength over the last week or so and have got to our first target of 100 fans and is now well over that so as they say onwards and upwards. The winner will receive our beautiful sterling silver nugget bracelet as shown in the photograph so lets get to 200 fans as quick as possible for our next giveaway.

Sunday night again! just cannot believe how fast the days go I am sure they used to go really slow when i was younger. This weekend has gone really quick as i have been building a sandpit for my boy, its all finished now just need some sand. I think i got my measurements wrong its huge but i don’t think my lad will complain though. I decided to build him one as the ones i have seen in the shops are pretty small and look lie they will snap after a week so i built one that will last for years lol. We didn’t get much time this weekend to work on the business but we did manage to get our new personalised bracelet on the website which we are very pleased about. All this miserable weather doesn’t help because i like to take my photo’s in natural light and it wasn’t easy on Friday but managed to get a few but i will take some new ones when the weather gets better.Our personalised necklace is one our best sellers and we have had a few enquiries about personalised bracelets as not everybody likes to were necklaces so we got to work designing a bracelet which as you can see is very elegant and stylish. For the bracelet we didn’t think a thin chain would work we wanted one that would stand out and have a look of quality so we went with a chunky cable chain which suits the design. The tags are the same ones we use for the necklace to keep it in the same range. We used an adjustable toggle because we get a lot of customers who are not quite sure what size they are so we thought this would be the best option. On the toggle we put a lovely cluster of charms which consist of a sterling silver angel wing, a sterling silver padlocked heart and a gold vermeil key which keeps with the theme of the bracelet which is for love of the people past and present in your lives weather it be new babies, family members or friends who have touched your lives this is a great gift that you can keep and remember the good times when you look at there names. Well at last I can show our first piece of many from our personalised latin love range which I am well chuffed about. This has been a long time in the running and very time consuming to design and make but we got there in the end although there is a long way to go as I have other pieces to make but its a start. Firstly I used a sterling silver cable chain that is nice and chunky and has a good weight to it. I then hand pierced a heart shape from 1mm thick silver sheet and etched the phrase ” Te Amo” which translates into ” I Love You”. I then hand pierced 4 discs in which 2 were 16mm and the other two were 18 mm, On the 18 mm discs i have etched love phrases in latin. On one disc it has the phrase ” Amor vincit omnia” which translates in to ” Love conquers all” and on the other disc it says ” Amor aeternus” which translates in to ” Love forever”. The two 16mm discs are for you to put your own personal mark on with two initials in a beautiful font. I then blacked up the etched text and initals and put them in the tumble polisher for a nice shine to them. This bracelet looks great, is very elegant and would make a great treasured keepsake for someone special.  Further details on this bracelet are available here.

Just a quick update on our slinky bracelet we have also put our etched name charms on this bracelet and it looks fab, this really does make a great treasured keepsake. I had a nightmare yesterday trying to get the photo’s of the bracelet, Firstly I lost all the etched charms down the skirting board as we live in a very old house nothing is very straight so there are slight gaps now and again but I managed to recover all but one.   Then I dropped the light stand and broke the bulb which to my amazement cost £25  as I later found out so it wasn’t a great start to the day but I managed to get some shots and felt better even though I only had one light stand.  I would like to thank all our recent Valentine customers for shopping at IndiviJewels and hope you like what you bought  from us and for the kind words in your feedback we do appreciate this as we like to know how you feel about our Jewellery.
