Freshwater Coin Pearl And Aquamarine Gemstone Necklace

Morning one and all, What a gorgeous sunny day we are having this fine Sunday, It’s amazing how a bit of sun puts a spring in your step and a smile on your face! So before I have to drag the kids off Batman 3 to take them and the mad mutt out I want to get this blog up and running, Told you I was getting on a roll with making stuff. Well I’m excited about this design, Some pieces you just get a good buzz about and that’s how it was when making this Coin pearl necklace With the summer season fast approaching it’s even more of a reason to show your pearls off, The way the sunshine reflects off pearls to show the different colors in the pearl are amazing. OK enough about sunshine as I’m getting a bit delirious thinking about a beach and a cocktail, I feel like booking a holiday now, Focus man there is work to do! In any case I need you guys to buy this necklace first so I can go on my travels lol. So first up it’s really hard to find an elegant charm holder bead, There’s not that many around but I have managed to source one out which I’m more than happy with. So on the charm holder I have attached a whopper of a coin pearl, A 14mm one which as you can see from the photo’s looks great quality to which it is! otherwise I wouldn’t use it! Around the pearl I have added a little cluster of 3-4mm round pearls and mingled in between are some beautiful 3mm aquamarine faceted rondelles, I love using faceted gemstones they just look more classy and give off a wonderful sparkle when the light hits them. So now we have our main focal point it’s onto the rest of the necklace, Now I did try using round pearls for this and it did work but I felt it just wasn’t right so I found these lovely cute 8-9mm coin pearls which when I put it all together just clicked straight away, As per usual I added the sterling silver spacers in between the pearls as I just think it looks more classy and elegant. Now the look of the necklace is unique (As always) and it gives the necklace it’s own identity and as you know I like my designs to flow and have the same look all over. So all in all I’m really happy with it and will be making the bracelet at some point today ready for photo’s during this coming week (Fingers crossed). Just as I near the end of another fact based roller coaster of a blog the sky is now GREY! Unbelievable so instead of a nice relaxing stroll in the woods thinking about summer jewellery it will be two head to toe muddy kids and a soggy boggy mutt to clean this afternoon! Right time to say bye for now so see you next time, Be an IndiviJewel!

Handwrapped Rose Gold, Gold Fill And Sterling Silver “Entwined” Hoop Earrings

Afternoon people! Told you I would be back soon with another exciting never to be missed blog so here I’am WooHoo. Well It’s the middle of the week when everyone goes “Argh” but not me I love my job! Well where are we? Well I seem to be on a roll at the moment with making new designs, The only problem now is the weather! I like to take my photo’s out in the natural light but it sure has been blustery these last few days, Just as I thought the weather was changing for the better with March coming round it strikes back and bites you in the you know what. Well a little while ago we made a new necklace, The “Entwined” necklace which we made with Rose gold, Gold fill and sterling silver well it’s become a real hit with you girls and sales have been great so due to those facts we decided to make matching earrings! It’s the same principle but we have added them onto some beautiful hoop earrings which I think you all would agree look fab. I love the fact we have mixed precious metals together, It just looks so striking and unique which is what we try to do, Give you something different. So hopefully you folks will like these earrings just as much as the necklace and keep us in business lol.  As you can see in the photographs the hoops are a lovely thick size and the diameter of them is 25mm so will definitely catch your eye. The actual bead is carefully hand weaved and woven by me or my wife so like all our work it is made to order but if you want a matching pair best get them from my wife! Only joking my weaving skills are above and beyond (nothing like blowing your own trumpet) as you can see in the photo’s. Well I think that covers this blog but with a bit of luck should be back with another in a day or two so mark it down in your diaries, Till the next time, Be different, Don’t be like the rest, Be an IndiviJewel – Just like us. The more I write that the more cheesy it sounds but I like it so who cares!

Sterling Silver “Bird’s Nest” Dangle Earrings

Welcome to another edition of IndiviJewels! March already! Can you believe it! Me neither, Weathers beginning to change, Bird’s are tweeting around the workshop. Hopefully the gloom of winter is about to depart us and bring us some long hot sunny days to bring a smile to our faces, No harm in closing your eyes and dreaming lol  So its been a busy last couple of weeks, Managed to design and make a few pieces. One of those pieces is our new addition to the “Bird’s Nest” collection, Now I can’t tell you how many designs we have for this collection but its a few lets just say and finally got round to making one of them. So without further ado here are our Dangle Bird’s Nest earrings, Lovely and elegant and unique to us for you! So to start with we used some 0.5 silver wire to hand wrap our “Bird’s Nest” ball, We then hung the nest from sterling silver chain which is attached to a sterling silver ball stud to keep with the flow of the design. I love this design, All the components really fit and give it a sleek and flowing look, Simple but very classy to which it can be used for any occasion and everyday wear. Just by writing this blog I have already thought of a couple more ideas just for this design, That’s what I love about designing one thing you see so many more variations of it, Best add those to the list and you might see them in a blog at some point in the future. OK so think that’s about it for today’s waffle. I shall return soon with another instalment that is IndiviJewels, So be different, Don’t be like the rest, Be an IndiviJewel, Just like us! I bid you adieu, Yes the old language skills are coming on a bundle.
