Various fonts can be used for the etching and examples of three are shown, or if there is another one that you would like, just let us know and we will let you know if it can be done. You can have the name charms etched using the same font or with different fonts as shown on the example.
We make these necklaces by hand and often get asked how they are done so a brief insight into the process is as follows. The silver oval which measures approximately 19mm x 10mm is hand pierced from 1mm thick sterling silver sheet so it has a nice weight to it. The printed name is then transferred to the silver using special film and the silver is then placed in an acid solution where the exposed areas are etched away resulting in lovely deep and crisp letters. The silver oval is then cleaned, drilled, sanded and polished by hand.
