The curved hoops that form the basis of these earrings have been hand forged in sterling silver and lightly hammered to add texture and a slight sparkle. The focal bead is a AAA Smoky Quartz micro-faceted dewdrop and wire wrapped around it are dozens of AAA Rhodolite Garnet and Smoky Quartz micro-faceted rondelles, white freshwater pearls and a couple of AAA Rhodolite Garnet micro-faceted dewdrop briolettes. The Smoky Quartz is a gorgeous mink colour and is complimented by the raspberry pink of the Rhodolite Garnet and highlighted by the freshwater pearls.
These earrings have a lovely weight to them and are perfectly balanced to ensure they hang just right.
If you prefer a more sultry look I can oxidize (blacken) these earrings to a deep grey/black finish.
The hoops measure approximately 45mm in diameter and approximately 60mm in length to the bottom of the smoky quartz bead.
